Description
Gesher Leadership Program (Grades 8-10):
A bridge between being a camper and becoming a future counselor, the Gesher Leadership Program helps teens develop confidence, responsibility, and strong Jewish identity in a fun, supportive environment.
Gesher participants enjoy:
• A dedicated leadership counselor
• Hands-on experience helping with younger camper groups
• Leadership workshops and team-building
• Gesher-only field trips and weekly pizza parties
• A lead role in planning and running Maccabiah Games, color wars, and other special theme days
• Opportunities to develop public speaking and event leadership
• A leadership certificate upon completion
Gesher teens are still very much part of the camp community, while also stepping into new roles that strengthen their skills and empower them to grow. This program is designed to help young teens develop leadership abilities, Jewish pride, and lifelong friendships.
Perfect for rising leaders who want to be role models at Camp Haverim and beyond.
