Middle School Rowing Club
Description
The Orchard Lake Rowing Club provides access to one of the best activities the lakes area has to offer: rowing.

Rowing can be a life-long sport that can open doors athletically, academically, and socially. The Orchard Lake Rowing Club will take middle-school athletes and develop them into capable rowers. No experience is required for this, which means all athletes are beginning at the same spot. All athletes need to do is try, ask questions and give consistent effort and the satisfaction of improvement will come.

Improvement Comes Quickly

With the help of our experienced and expert staff, the athletes improve very quickly. With each session, the athletes will be able to do things in the boat they were not able to do the session before. Seeing one's improvement is one of the most satisfying aspects of rowing.

Pulling in the Same Direction

Rowing is the epitome of teamwork. The athletes will learn to trust and communicate with each other so as to get the boats to function at their best. This results in the athletes developing strong relationships with one another.

Opportunity Knocks

Rowing has continued to expand at the collegiate level, providing the opportunity to continue rowing at the university level while continuing one´s education. Many athletes at OLSM have been able to earn scholarships as a result of their giving rowing a try and maximizing their
experience with it.
