The Forest Up Close
Description
The Forest Up Close program engages children in how to think and talk like scientists and to explore details of the forest with a discerning eye. Kids learn about decomposing logs, water systems, and lichen, and have opportunities to practice nature journaling.
Dates:
6/29/2026 - 7/2/2026 (9 AM - 4 PM): No Camp on July 3rd. Please Note: this is a very science forward program and we strongly recommend that only children who are interested in exploring the forest through a scientific lens register. Please consider speaking to your child about The Forest Up Close before signing them up to make sure it is a good fit.
