Ages 7 Years through 11th Grade

Session 3 is the perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July, camp style. This shorter session wraps up on Friday, July 3, giving campers plenty of time to enjoy the holiday at home while still soaking up a full dose of Camp Newaygo fun. The week will include a festive 4th of July cookout, themed games, and patriotic activities to make the holiday extra special.

Campers enjoy their three class choices all session long, giving them time to try new activities, build skills, and form fast friendships. No two weeks at Camp Newaygo are ever the same, which is why many campers choose to come for more than one session each summer.

Midweek adventure is a highlight of Session 3. Campers in 7th grade and under head out for an on property tent overnight with their cabin group. Campers in 8th through 11th grade travel off site for a true adventure overnight that may include backpacking, paddling, or tubing. Cooking over the fire and sleeping under the stars helps create strong connections and lasting memories with cabin mates.
