BELOW THE RIM BASKETBALL CAMP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for choosing Below the Rim Basketball Camp
We look forward to having your camper with us this summer. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By registering your camper, you are attesting that you agree with all of the following.
DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS
Upon registration each camper is required to pay a deposit of $150 for each week of participation.
Important Payment Dates: After April 1, deposits are no longer refundable. May 1: Full payment is due unless written notice has been provided of any camp withdrawal. Families are financially responsible for all weeks for which they are registered. Balances after the deposit may be paid by check, e-check or *credit card. *Convenience fees may apply based on payment method. Bank Service Fee: A $15 processing fee will be added to your invoice for any check returned unpaid or credit card declined.
Discounts: If a camper enrolls for 2 weeks or more, they will receive a $15 per week discount on the 2nd, 3rd...etc. weeks.
Financial Aid: Any request for financial aid will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require submission of tax pertinent documents.
PHOTO RELEASE POLICY
I hereby grant permission to Below the Rim Basketball Camp to take and use my photograph or video imagery or the photograph or video imagery of my child(ren) in any communication, marketing materials, or in cooperation with media and other organizations without consideration. I acknowledge Below the Rim has the right to crop or treat the photograph at its discretion. I acknowledge that Below the Rim may choose not to use my photo or video imagery or my child’s photo or video imagery at this time but may do so at its own discretion at a later date. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless from any claims against Below the Rim, and all employees related to the subject matter hereof. Below the Rim reserves the right to discontinue use of photos without notice.
COVID/GENERAL POPULATION ILLNESS POLICY
In the event that Below the Rim Basketball Camp must close camp, due to state or local mandate, we will do our best to fit you into another week. If we are unable to accommodate you, Below the Rim will credit your account for use in a future program. COVID procedures may be updated during the camp season as necessary. ILLNESS Keep children home if they are not feeling well. Campers with a fever will not be admitted to camp. Campers who develop a fever or other symptoms of illness will be sent home. Campers will be asked to follow precautions and regulations regarding COVID-19, which will be updated based on current conditions and provided before camp begins. Parents are expected to arrange prompt pickup of any child who is ill.
EXPECTED CAMPER BEHAVIOR
Camp is an exciting, fun, sociable and nurturing experience. Campers are expected to be respectful of each other, counselors, and the facilities. Any campers endangering themselves or others may be asked to leave camp and payments associated with enrollment will not be refunded. Parents may request a copy of the discipline policy at any time. Refunds or exchanges are not given to campers who are asked to withdraw.
HEALTHY CAMPER
I further certify that the camper is in good health and that has no conditions or impairments, including any conditions associated with COVID-19 or any other communicable illness which would preclude safe participation in Below the Rim Basketball Camp activities or safe access to or use of any BTR Facilities.
MEDICAL RELEASE/TREATMENT
I hereby authorize Below the Rim Camp or its representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment on behalf of my camper in the event that, in the opinion of camp staff that said camper is in need of such treatment/transportation to hospital. I further agree that I, the parent/guardian will be responsible for payment of such treatment/transportation and release said camp or its representatives for any damages sustained by me in the connection with providing of emergency medical treatment. The camp agrees to contact the parent/guardian as soon as is reasonably possible after the event which required said emergency treatment, at the telephone numbers in the camper account. I further agree that as parent/guardian I will be responsible for payment of any cost of medical treatment which may arise in connection with any sickness or accident during the period when the camper is at camp, whether such expense is incurred during or subsequent to the time that the camper attends camp and will indemnify and hold harmless the camp for any claims for payment.
PARENT/GUARDIAN STATUS
I further certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Minor with authority to sign this agreement. I further understand that the terms of this agreement are legally binding and certify that I am signing this agreement of my own free will after having carefully read it.
Each of the undersigned certifies that the date of birth set forth below my signature is true and accurate and that I am, therefore, of lawful age and otherwise legally competent to sign this agreement.
