Description:

Kids will learn the basic moves and how to notate properly. At the end of the course, the kids will learn the basic rules of chess. They will also learn the correct habits of playing chess in a tournament setting. The kids will also be ready to play a full game of chess and notate properly.


Note: During the classes parents involvement and standing behind the student is strictly prohibited.

Our expert: Sujay Roy

He has been teaching Chess to Bay area scholastic students. Many of his student's have won 1st place in California State scholastic championships and have achieved National ranking in US Scholastic Chess. Mr. Roy was a State Champion and National level player in India and has served as Chess coach at Weibel Elementary School, Fremont. He has been a Tournament Director at California State Scholastic Chess Championships for over 12 years. Student’s and parent’s love Sujay Roy for his style of teaching, which makes kids interested and successful in very short time.
