GLI UPPER SCHOOL SUMMER INSTITUTE: LEANING INTO LEADERSHIP
July 22 - July 26, 2024
Open to rising ninth-grade through 10th-grade students
9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Tuition (one-week program): $915 Tuition is fully inclusive covering all program materials, lunch and snacks.

The GLI Summer Institute for students entering grades nine and ten offers greater immersion in real-life experiences and challenges. Participants will conduct a comprehensive self-assessment of their leadership strengths and challenges to create an action plan for leadership growth and goal execution. As they tackle case studies and team-building challenges, they will deepen their understanding of ethical decision making, negotiating difficult situations, building group cohesion, inspiring and motivating others, delivering and receiving feedback and having an impact on their communities. Together, they will apply the design-thinking process to create innovative solutions to real-world problems, even as they embrace the value of productive struggle. Reflection with a personal mentor is a vital part of the learning experience.
