Pointe 1
Description
Pointe is a part of the classical ballet technique where dancers perform in special shoes called pointe shoes. With sufficient progress in the study of ballet, along with proper technique, a strong body, and faculty approval, a student may advance to pointe work.

Pointe students MUST be a minimum of 12 years old and have approval from the CAS Director of Dance.

Pointe 1 is designed for new pointe students and will focus on proper technique, weight placement, alignment, and safety. Pointe 1 students must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 ballet technique classes per week and/or be part of the CAS Dance Company.
