Counselor in Training (C.I.T.)
Counselors In Training(C.I.T.'s) are some of the most valuable and appreciated members of our staff. They are asked to work hard in the kitchen and help our campers have a great experience as volunteers. We are so grateful for all they do, without them our program would not be nearly as successful.

The C.I.T. experience is designed to give those who choose to fill the positions the opportunity to gain valuable camp experience and training to help them become our GREAT counselors of the future. C.I.T.'s work with their fellow staff members in implementing our programs and activities and interacting with our campers, allowing them to gain valuable hands on experience. The second and most time consuming part of the program is working in the kitchen helping to prepare, set up, serve and clean up meals. C.I.T.'s typically work in the kitchen two meals a day, washing dishes (we have a dishwasher, YAY), setting tables, serving food, and cleaning up.

This is a summer, seasonal volunteer position. C.I.T.'s attend staff leadership training and volunteer for at least an additional two weeks.
