Wonder in Nature 2026 - Community Collaborative Nature Photography Camp
Description
Capture the wonders of nature with the click of a button. Grab a camera and let's go outside!

In Wonder in Nature, middle school students will practice the skills and techniques that go into nature photography. This 4-day camp will include fun and educational activities like DSLR camera courses and guided walks in nature where you can hone your photography skills. Packed full of fun activities, guest speakers, and lots of food!

The camp will culminate in the creation of a printed photography magazine that each student will receive following the completion of the program.

Note: The camp will be based at Seward Park Audubon Center, and we will explore trails throughout the park (trail map). Campers can expect to walk 0.5-2.5 miles per day on pathways that may include pavement, grass, compact dirt and rocky shoreline. Trails may also include stairs and moderate slope. Activities will proceed regardless of weather, with rain gear and outdoor clothing provided for use during the program. Additional accommodations can be requested in registration.
