Wednesday Belle Sherman Afterschool - Fall 2026 (Grades 3-5)
Description
Spend Wednesday afternoons outside exploring the landscape next to Belle Sherman Elementary School! Play games, make fires, and learn about the plants and animals living in your neighborhood forest. Develop comfort in the outdoors while learning new skills with friends. Each age group will have activities and skills tailored to children's interests and abilities. This program is a great way to unwind after a day in school, and encourages teamwork and comfort in the outdoors!

Dates: October 7, October 14, October 21, October 28, November 4, November 18, December 2, December 9, December 16 
Times: 2:00-4:30pm on Wednesdays

This program is for Belle Sherman Elementary students.
This is a free program, funded by the Tompkins County Youth Services Urban Outreach grant, in order to provide Belle Sherman students with access to outdoor programming. Since this is a very popular program, we'd like to make it accessible for as many children as we can. In order to do this, we will have all registrations start on the waitlist, and then different youth will be selected each season to allow more children to try the program. This is a new process for us, so thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
If your child is selected for the season, you will receive confirmation emails 2 weeks prior to session start to complete registration paperwork.
