Southern Maine Junior Music Academy - SMJMA (7 day residential camp)
for incoming 7th graders to outgoing 8th graders
Camp Director, Melissa Shabo; Concert Band Director, John Morneau
Check in on the first day at Noon; Final Concert on the last day at 2 p.m.
Overnight camp, commuter option.

This seven day program gives middle school-age instrumental musicians with at least two years of experience the opportunity for musical growth and development. All academy members will participate in concert band, chorus, instrument sectionals, and small ensembles daily. Students may also audition for jazz band. Academy members will also enjoy free concerts performed by local professional musicians.

Resident / Commuter
Commuter
For the overnight music academies (SoMMA, SMCMA and SMJMA), commuters is more than a day camp. Campers eat breakfast at home. Lunch and dinner is provided. Campers participate in all day and evening activities, and go home when the resident campers are returning to their dorm, approximately 9 - 9:30 p.m. each night. ($100 less, adjustment will be made upon confirmation)
Resident
Campers will be housed 2 to a room, and may request request roommate options during the registration process or later.
