Southern Maine Music Academy - SoMMA (7 day residential))
for incoming 9th graders to outgoing 12th graders
Camp Director, Melissa Shabo; Concert Band Director, Will Kinne
Check-in on the first day at Noon; Final Concert on the last day at 2 p.m.
Overnight camp, commuter option.

This exciting, yet demanding, eight-day program gives high school musicians the opportunity for musical development through group and individualized instruction provided by qualified staff and professional musicians. Academy members will have the opportunity to participate in concert band, instrument sectionals, and small ensembles. Students may also audition for jazz band. Academy members will enjoy free concerts performed by local musicians and daily on campus recreational activities. Commuters arrive just after breakfast and participate in all activities and meals until approximately 9:30 p.m.

Resident / Commuter
Commuter
For the overnight music academies (SoMMA, SMCMA and SMJMA), commuters is more than a day camp. Campers eat breakfast at home. Lunch and dinner is provided. Campers participate in all day and evening activities, and go home when the resident campers are returning to their dorm, approximately 9 - 9:30 p.m. each night. ($100 less, adjustment will be made upon confirmation)

Campers will be housed 2 to a room, and may request request roommate options during the registration process or later.
