Kindergarten Capoeira - Spring
Description
Capoeira is a unique martial art that offers countless benefits to young children with respect to both physical and mental development. By incorporating body movement, percussion, music and singing, Capoeira helps develop balance, coordination, fitness, flexibility, and rhythm. Capoeira also builds social skills, a sense of community and self esteem through creative expression.

Kindergarteners are introduced to Capoeira in a play-based and nurturing format with musical elements to make them feel comfortable while simultaneously inspiring them to exercise and learn new movements. Balance, Coordination and awareness of the body is the focus for this class. We are fortunate to have Gamal Chasten, parent of Zekai ('28), as a partner to lead this course!
