Younger Girl Scout Space Science Badge in a Box Information
Get ready to explore space science with this Badge in a Box! This kit is perfect for your K-5th grade multilevel troop to earn the Space Science badges through hands on activities and experiments. We’ll cover the sun, moon, and stars with activities like a Pocket Solar System and designing our own constellations. Appropriate Space Science badge included.

Designed to make Girl Scouting at home stress-free, Badge in a Box is curated to include most of the things that you need to complete the badge at home or with your troop – from easy to follow instructions to the badge itself! Some additional household materials, such as markers, pencils, and water may be required. Full information will be included with the Badge in a Box curriculum. Please read the entire curriculum and materials list to make sure that you have everything that you need.

Pick-Up and Shipping Information
When you purchase Badge in a Box, you will have the option of free pickup at the Girl Scouts of Utah's Salt Lake City office or have it shipped straight to your house (shipping fees will apply). You will be notified by email when your box is ready. Please allow 10 business days for shipping.

Younger Girl Scout Space Science Badge-in-a-Box Fees (includes shipping)
  • $14 for the initial box (pick up in Salt Lake City), $13 per additional participant
  • $24 for the initial box (mail within Utah), $14 per additional participant
  • $28 for the initial box (mail outside of Utah), $14 per additional participant
  • If you want to use Activity Credits to purchase a box, you can submit Activity Credits to Girl Scouts of Utah with a payment form. After GSU receives the Activity Credits, your account will be credited and you can purchase your Badge-in-a-Box.
