8 WEEK Hindustani Vocal Music Class for Beginners ( 6-9 years old )

CLASSES ONLY ON THE FOLLOWING 8 DATES (WEDNESDAYS)

· Introduction to the seven notes and learning simple alankaar patterns

· Introduction to pitch and training the voice to understand low, high sounds.

· Learning 1 prayer and two bhajans

· Learning 4 songs from the Gana Bajana Book. (will be provided to you on Day 1 of class)

· Understanding the concept of beat, Rhythm and introducing 8 beat taal.

· Introducing the Raga Bhoopali and a bandish based on the raga.
