Storytelling, Theatre & Creative Art Camp

Storytelling Camp
Children will explore the magical world of stories through engaging narration, role-play, and creative discussions. Sessions include Indian folk tales and global stories, each chosen for their beautiful morals and age-appropriate life lessons. Through listening, retelling, and imagining alternate endings, campers build vocabulary, confidence, and expressive skills that form the foundation for their theatre experience.

Theatre Camp
Young performers will bring stories to life by developing characters, practicing simple dialogues, and learning expressions and stage presence. Drawing on the confidence and narrative understanding built during storytelling, children collaborate to present a joyful performance for families and friends. This experience strengthens teamwork, communication, and pride in sharing their work with an audience.

Creative Art Camp
Campers will design and create props, backdrops, and themed artwork that support their stage performance. Using ideas from the stories they explored and the characters they portray, children experiment with colors, textures, and simple design techniques. Selected pieces will be displayed during the performance, while others go home with the children as keepsakes of their creativity.

How the Camps Connect
Together, these three camps form a cohesive journey: storytelling builds imagination and expression, theatre transforms those skills into performance, and creative art brings the stage to life through student-made visuals. Each component strengthens the next, helping children feel confident, proud, and deeply connected to their own work from story to stage.

You may drop your child anytime for Morning Extended Care from 8:00am - 9:00 am at ICC Milpitas at an additional cost of $49. 		+ $49.00
