📸 Photography Camp
Capture, Create & Tell Stories Through the Lens!

This engaging photography camp introduces students to the art and technique of capturing moments professionally. Campers will learn how to operate a real camera, including understanding lenses, aperture, focus, and shutter speed, while exploring creative composition and storytelling through images. Students are encouraged to bring their own camera—professional or digital—if available. If not, a phone, tablet, or iPad may be used, and ICC will provide devices on a shared basis for students who do not have access to one.

Science Wizards (🧬 BIOLOGY )

This exciting hands-on biology camp introduces students to fascinating concepts about how living systems function—from DNA and cells to breathing, fermentation, and human sensory responses. Each day combines engaging lessons with interactive experiments that help students see biology come alive through observation, creativity, and real-world connections.

Day 1: What is DNA? + Strawberry DNA Extraction Lab
Students will learn about DNA and its role in living organisms while extracting real DNA from strawberries using safe household materials.

Day 2: How Do Lungs Work? + Lung Model Lab
Campers will explore the respiratory system and build a working lung model using simple materials like bottles and balloons.

Day 3: What is Cellular Respiration? + Exercise & CO₂ Lab
Students will discover how the body produces energy and measure carbon dioxide released before and after exercise using bromothymol blue.

Day 4: What is Fermentation? + Sugar & Yeast Lab
Campers will learn how fermentation works by mixing yeast and sugar water and observing gas production using a balloon experiment.

Day 5: What is Cell Signaling? + Miracle Berry Taste Lab
Students will explore how the body processes sensory signals by observing how miracle berries temporarily change taste perception.

This camp encourages curiosity, scientific thinking, and hands-on learning while helping students understand the amazing biological processes that keep living organisms functioning every day.

Spell Bee & Math Hackathon:

This Camp is designed to challenge and inspire elementary students through an engaging blend of language, math, and science. Campers participate in focused Spelling Bee preparation and a friendly competition, Math Bee practice with logic and problem-solving challenges, and hands-on Science sessions exploring age-appropriate Physics and Chemistry concepts through fun experiments and activities.

Students build vocabulary, sharpen math skills, and explore scientific ideas through games, quizzes, experiments, and team-based challenges. Each day balances structured learning with excitement, helping children develop confidence, critical thinking, and a love for academic exploration in a supportive and motivating environment.
