Description
In this weekend Public Speaking & Creative Writing Workshop, students will learn various presentation and communication skills to boost their confidence, as well as learn critical thinking and writing skills to bring out the young author in them.

This workshop will be held on every Saturday from April 27th to June 29th,2024 from 11am to 12:30pm in Studio Room 4.

IDEAL FOR AGES: 8 to 13 YRS, but open to others per experience and interest.

Public Speaking and Creative Writing course description :
Class #1
11:00-11:30: Speech structures
11:30-12:00: Creative Speech Writing techniques
12:00-12:30 Writing and performing speeches.

Class #2:
11:00-11:30 Judging responsibilities Ahh and umm counter, Grammerian, eye contact, body language and facial expressions judges.
11:30-12:00 Writing and performing speeches
11:30-12:00 Listening game: 5 words each to create a short story together.

Class #3:
11:00-11:30 Judging responsibilities,
adding emotion and details to speeches
11:30-12:00 Writing and performing speeches
12:00-12:30 Impromptu Creative speeches, 2 random words to create short interesting speeches.

Class #4
11:00-11:30 Judging responsibilities, Beautiful wording and descriptive writing techniques.
11:30-12:00 Write and perform speeches.
12:00-12:30 Recap of what we learned, questions and answers.
