Description
Thanks to a generous grant from the R.K. Melon Foundation, we are pleased to announce that girls who are registered for overnight camping accommodations (cabin/ tent/ or lodge) for this weekend will be able to participate in a free outdoor related badge workshop for their program grade level and will receive the badge they earn for free. This offer is only available for select weekends and badges and is non-transferable to other dates. All camping requirements such as having the proper number of adult volunteers, troop camp training, and First Air/CPR/AED training must be met. Camp Staff will schedule your badgework time(s) around any other activities you have purchased. Please be aware that your badegwork time(s) may also depend on the requirements of the badge for your program grade level and you may be scheduled for one or multiple time(s) on Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday morning depending on the badge. Groups must attend all of the badgework sessions that are scheduled for their group during the weekend in order to earn and receive the badge. Badges will only be provided for the number of girls who have registered and are present for all the badgework sessions. Adults are required to provide supervision for their girls in accordance with safety activity checkpoint numbers at all activities, but will not be active participants in the badgework or receive a badge. Camp staff will reach out to you prior to your arrival on camp to find out how many participants you have for each program grade level.

Basics of 1 Spin Hatchet Throwing- Saturday- 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.Cadettes and older only

This course will teach participants the basics of throwing safely from a 1 spin distance. All participants will begin by throwing training tools and then have the opportunity to move to throwing hatchets when they feel they are ready for that challenge. If a student or the instructor do not feel the student is ready to move to throwing hatchets, then the participant will throw only the training tools.

S'mores- Saturday- 8:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.Spend time around the campfire roasting marshmallows, eating s'mores, and chatting with other campers without the responsibility of building or putting out the fire. This is a come and go activity from 8 p.m.- 10 p.m. and includes up to 2 s'mores per person. + $3.00  
RP- Activity- Souvenir
Rocky Point SouvenirLooking for a cool way to remember your fabulous trip to Camp Rocky Point? This staff led activity will provide each participant a chance to brand a wooden block with a special Rocky Point image. Troops will receive information regarding when and where to meet for this activity after arriving at camp. + $5.00

Dining Hall- Friday- 8:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.Main dining hall space, tables, and chairs are included in the rental fee. This DOES NOT include commercial kitchen usage. All tables and benches must be reset to original placement prior to the end of your reservation time. Please note that the dining hall does not have heat or air conditioning.+ $75.00  
Dining Hall- Saturday- 9:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.Main dining hall space, tables, and chairs are included in the rental fee. This DOES NOT include commercial kitchen usage.
