High School Wilderness Camp
Description
This camp is for the adventurous spirit. High School students get to experience the adventure of a lifetime. They will be challenged physically and spiritually as they venture off the grounds of LSCA to head to the Ozark Mountains with Discovery Ministries. This is a wilderness trip. There are not restrooms, kitchens, cabins, etc. with exception of the first night.

On Sunday, July 2, campers will meet at LSCA at 2pm and travel by van from LSCA to Discovery Ministries (DM) in Eminence, MO. After getting prepped for a trip and staying Sunday night at DM, trained & professional DM staff will lead LSCA Deans Dan and Cindy Freeman and the campers on a 5 day, 4 night wilderness trip that could include: canoeing, backpacking, rock climbing, caving, and more in the Ozark Mountains. (each year the trip varies a little). They will return to LSCA on Friday, July 7, by 6pm.
