Beginner's Camp
Description
Beginner’s Camp is a special opportunity for new and younger campers and their parents to experience the joys of Paradise Point! This three-night camp offers age appropriate activities that introduce families to every aspect of camp: our dedicated staff, delicious food, quality programming, and amazing location. Younger campers, along with their parents, grandparents, or guardians can relax and enjoy quality time as they build lasting camp memories.

During the day, campers enjoy traditional camp activities such as archery, ceramics, hiking, boating, swimming, Chapel, games, singing, and evening campfires! Beginner’s Camp follows a truncated schedule similar to other youth camps to give new and younger campers a good idea of what to expect should they decide to visit Paradise Point in the future without their guardian. Although counselors do not share cabins with campers during Beginner’s Camp, they are on hand to help campers settle into their accommodations and answer questions throughout the week.

Unique to Beginner’s Camp is the option to stay in the King Lodge rather than one of our rustic cabins. The King Lodge offers seven hostel-style rooms with shared bathrooms, plumbing, and electricity. Availability is first come, first serve so reserve your room today! Beginner’s Camp also boasts a theme day – pirates! In addition, adults can enjoy a few quite minutes to themselves while children attend story time each evening after campfire.
