Ms. Hinders is a certified teacher with 36 years of teaching experience in early childhood education. In this phonics course long vowel word families and phonograms will be introduced. The class will focus on applying word families in the areas of reading and writing. Other language components will be introduced as well, such as suffixes, compound words, and contractions. There will be whole group lessons which include technology, games, writing and hands on learning, coupled with small group instruction to help cement phonemic awareness! Reading is FUN-damental!
