Discover the thrilling world of fencing in our introductory youth program! Designed for aspiring young swordsmen and swordswomen, this engaging program provides a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn the fundamentals of fencing. Throughout the course of the camp participants will learn the basics of fencing epee, which is a form of fencing. Overall this camp will be very fun and entertaining while introducing the kids to a centuries' old sport. This program will be brought to you by Windy City Fencing, the best fencing club in Chicago, and Fencing for a Purpose, a non-profit organization aimed at expanding the sport of fencing. Fencing is a sport that requires both great physical and mental strength. Additionally, fencing is one of the 5 original sports in the Modern Olympics. Come learn why Fencing is growing in popularity in the United States, leading to male and female Team USA athletes dominating the podiums at the international competitions.
