Chickens, Eggs, Ducks, Oh My!

This 9 week long session will involve hatching chicks from an incubator using fertile eggs! Students will learn the hands on way by learning poultry breeds, safe handling, uses of poultry, care, management, and showmanship. A fun surprise might include hatching a duckling, too!

Hatch a Chick will meet Tuesdays and Fridays April to June- Please see dates below! Week 5 is hatching week- (May 7th and 8th) will be Tuesday/Wednesday instead of Tuesday/Friday.

Tuesdays: 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4
Wednesday: 5/8
Fridays: 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7

Needs-based transportation home is available at no cost.
