Teen Monotype Printmaking
Description
This course will teach students everything you need to know about monotypes. Monotypes are an interesting form of printmaking. Unlike other methods, monotypes produce only one print, hence why it’s called a “monotype.” Monotypes are much like if painting and printmaking were combined into one artform.

Students will learn various ways to create monotypes with different printmaking methods. This course will use direct line, indirect line, subtractive ways, additive ways, and etching to make prints. Once all of these methods are used, students will have the chance to create prints with a combination of these methods through subjects they like.

Students will have the ability to create multiple prints per class. Supplies are included in the price of all youth/teen classes.
