Description
Eagle 2 – Diving into the Microscopic World

For campers going into 3rd-7th grades.
Tiered Pricing ($330 - $280 - $230)

Scientists estimate that the number of microbe species in the world could be as many as 1 trillion!

In Eagle Camp Session 2, campers will explore the miniscule yet expansive world of microorganisms. Throughout the week, campers will collect samples from water, plants, and soil to observe the world of microbes that live at the Macbride Nature Recreation Area under microscopes. They will also visit the fictional underwater city of Nano, a place where microorganisms become visible to our human eyes. In Nano, campers will explore the many connections between microorganisms and the living things we see all around us each day as they take on roles and face challenges in this imaginary world.

Other activities this week will include paddleboarding and kayaking on Lake Macbride, canoeing on Spider Pond, and exploring Turkey Creek.
