Fall Knitting Series
Description
This class requires only basic familiarity with knit and purl stitches. It’s for anyone who has knit before, even if unsuccessfully. We will be knitting the Targetty Shawl by Melanie Berg.
You will learn (or revisit): knit and purl stitches; garter tab cast on; twisted rib stitch; increasing, and the satisfying i-cord bind off. This is a wonderful shawl to play with color. We will be working with La Bien Aimee’s hand dyed soft sock or DK base yarn. Spincycle’s Dyed in the wool would work, too.
