Who should take this course?
Taking the next step from Prams, the O'Pen skiff is where we finalize the transition from sailing with a friend to confident single handing. While a wet and sometimes capsize prone boat, the O'Pen Skiff rights from a capsize dry and is a huge skill boost to growing sailors. Capsizing, a normal part of larger boats, is normalized and practiced frequently. Kids quickly grow confident and enjoy the challenge. This boat provides a great step to, or break from, racing - while growing skills for all future sailors. 

What course should my child take next?
Repeats are welcome! Confident or students looking for more should think about our Race Camps or Scholastic racing programs. If you're not into racing yet, consider a Venture or Board based course!
