Program Aide
Description
Program Aides work under the guidance of an adult guide and are responsible for teaching specific skills determined by the needs of the group and her personal strengths.
Prerequisites:
Aides must be registered Girl Scouts, and must have completed their LiA
award prior to taking the Program Aide Training.
They must take a GSNorcal approved Program Aide training prior to assuming their responsibilities for the first time only.
They must have had experience working with younger girls in their troops. First time Program Aides who have not been registered Girl Scouts in the past must submit brief recommendations from three adults regarding their experience working with younger children. The recommenders may send their communication to Alice Lemieux (Monarch) via email at alicemay.lemieux@gmail.com. The subject line should be Program Aide Recommendation.
