Game Adventures in Minecraft (3rd-5th grade)
Description
From Imagination to Playable Games

Students will explore how game designers bring ideas to life as they design, build, and play their own video games. Using tools such as Minecraft Education, Construct, Flowlab, and MakeCode Arcade, students will transform their creativity into fully playable games.

Students will learn how to:
-Design original characters and levels
-Program obstacles such as lava pits, spikes, and other challenges
-Add sound effects, music, and animation
-Play, test, and refine their games

The course begins with beginner-friendly, block-based coding and gradually builds skills that prepare students for text-based programming. Each class wraps up with a special activity to keep the fun and creativity going!
