Retro Arcade Build
Description
Bring the excitement of classic arcade games to life by building your own custom retro arcade controller! Inspired by old-school favorites like Pac-Man, Galaga, and Street Fighter, students will explore the basics of electronics, engineering, and maker design while assembling a functional arcade-style controller. Along the way, they'll learn how buttons, switches, and circuits work, safely use a variety of maker tools, and customize their project with their own colors, artwork, and creative touches. The class combines hands-on building with problem-solving and creativity, giving students the opportunity to design, assemble, test, and personalize a gaming controller they can proudly take home. No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity, creativity, and a love of games!
