Cooking from Scratch
Description
Join Parish Food Director, Christian Santiago, for a hands-on cooking class where students will prepare a variety of delicious recipes while learning foundational kitchen skills and cooking techniques. Along the way, they'll practice measuring, counting, weighing, following directions, and time management as they become familiar with common kitchen tools and equipment.

Cooking is a valuable life skill that encourages confidence, independence, and creativity in the kitchen. Each week, students will prepare a new recipe and bring home any leftovers to share with their families.
Class recipes include meatballs with marinara sauce, stromboli, pizza, guacamole, pico de gallo, as well as chefs baking and decorating cakes and cookies!
