Scripps Spelling Bee Prep
Description
Scripps Spelling Bee Prep helps students strengthen their spelling skills through the study of word roots, etymology, vocabulary, and language patterns. Students will participate in weekly practice rounds modeled after the Scripps National Spelling Bee format while learning strategies to improve spelling accuracy and word recognition.

Through interactive activities and practice, students will build confidence, expand their vocabulary, and develop a deeper understanding of the English language. Whether preparing for a school spelling bee or simply looking to strengthen spelling skills, this class provides a fun and supportive learning environment.

What Students Will Experience:
- Master Scripps National Spelling Bee word lists and official competition format
- Learn etymology and root words to decode unfamiliar words under pressure
- Practice with live competitive spelling rounds in a supportive environment
- Build vocabulary, memory skills, and test-taking confidence
