Ballet, Tap & Jazz - Thursday
Description
In this fun and engaging combination class, dancers will skip, gallop, leap, stretch, crawl, wiggle, and giggle as they explore the fundamentals of ballet, tap, and jazz. Students will develop rhythm, coordination, balance, and body awareness while learning basic dance positions, movements, and age-appropriate choreography. A portion of each class encourages creative movement, giving dancers the opportunity to explore movement freely and build confidence through self-expression. Class concludes with basic tumbling and balancing activities. Dance concepts are introduced in a playful, nurturing environment that supports proper skill development and provides a strong foundation for future dance training.

Attire: While uniform attire is standard in many dance programs, the practicality of an after-school class allows for more time to dance and less time changing clothes. Students will remain in their school clothes but must bring pink split sole Ballet shoes and black Tap shoes to class. *Dancers will participate in the Merry & Bright Performance on Wednesday, December 9, 2026. Please note that the class fee includes the performance costume.
