STEM: Race to the Finish
Description
Ready, set, build! In this fast-paced STEM class, students will become engineers, inventors, and designers as they create exciting tracks, ramps, and mazes for a variety of vehicles.

Using hands-on materials, students will design and build racetracks for cars, trucks, airplanes, and rockets while exploring concepts such as motion, force, speed, gravity, and momentum. They will test their designs, make improvements, and discover how engineers solve problems through trial and error.

Young builders will also create marble mazes filled with twists, turns, tunnels, jumps, and obstacles. Through experimentation and teamwork, students will learn how angles, slopes, and track designs affect movement and performance.

Each challenge encourages creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance while introducing important STEM concepts in a fun and engaging way. Whether launching rockets, racing vehicles, or navigating marble mazes, students will experience the excitement of engineering while creating their own amazing inventions and designs.
