Beginning Sewing into STEM
Description
In this hands-on class, students will learn beginner hand-sewing stitches, cross-stitching, braiding, and introductory crochet techniques while creating age-appropriate projects.

As they sew and create, students will explore patterns, shapes, measurement, sequencing, and design while strengthening problem-solving, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, patience, and perseverance. Each class encourages creativity and experimentation with different colors, textures, and materials, and students will take home the projects they create throughout the session.
