Foundations for Algebra I
Description
This five-day workshop will focus on the skills that lead to success in Algebra 1. Specifically designed for students who may have faced challenges in previous math courses, our approach combines engaging activities and hands-on learning in a small, collaborative classroom setting. The goal is to build a strong foundation of skills, alleviating any anxiety surrounding Algebra. 

Throughout the week, we will address major concepts covered in the Math Summer Packet, but a significant emphasis will be on reviewing essential math concepts from previous grades. This strategic approach ensures that students are well-prepared for a confident start in Algebra I in the fall. Additionally, participants will receive valuable instruction on effective study skills, applicable not only to upcoming math classes, but also other Upper School courses.
