Language Launch: PreK 4
Description
This camp helps young learners strengthen the foundational skills needed for academic and social success. Led by experienced Speech-Language Pathologists from the Shelton Speech Center, campers engage in fun, structured activities that build vocabulary, expressive language, and confidence. Perfect for children who would benefit from extra language exposure, guided social interaction, or a boost before starting the upcoming school year.

Receptive & Expressive Language Skills Focus:
• Vocabulary growth & concept development
• Listening & following directions
• Sentence building & expressive language
• Story comprehension & sequencing
• Social language (turn-taking, commenting, asking questions)

How We Will Learn:
• Routine-based learning to support attention and engagement
• Interactive games & movement activities
• Storytime with guided discussion
• Songs, crafts, and sensory play
