STEM Workshop: Investigating Processes
Description
In this interactive STEM workshop, rising 3rd and 4th graders will learn how scientists and problem-solvers approach questions and challenges. Campers will explore the process of investigation by asking questions, making predictions, testing ideas, collecting data, and analyzing results through guided, age-appropriate activities. Students will participate in small-group experiments and design challenges that emphasize critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance. Rather than focusing on the right answer, this workshop encourages students to reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and why. By the end of the week, campers will have a stronger understanding of how to think through problems using scientific inquiry - skills they can apply across STEM subjects and beyond.
