Campers explore the exciting world of both print and broadcast journalism through hands-on projects and real-world skills. The session begins with a camper-run school newsletter, where students take on roles as editors, writers, and designers to produce a high-quality publication to share with classmates and families.

Next, campers dive into broadcast journalism, developing a video log of short, engaging segments highlighting what’s happening around school. Along the way, they learn essentials like storyboarding, interviewing, writing for different media formats, and basic video editing.

Through collaboration and creativity, students use digital tools to inform, entertain, and connect with their community. By the end of camp, each camper will have a print and video portfolio they can be proud of - perfect for budding writers, filmmakers, and storytellers. No prior experience required, just curiosity and a passion for telling great stories!
