Rising Stars Dance Technique
Description
Build strength, confidence, and technique in a fun, high-energy setting! This camp helps dancers grow their skills with increased structure and consistency. Campers focus on turn preparation, beginner pirouettes, and leap progressions such as chassé to leap, sauté arabesque, and stag prep. Each day includes strength and flexibility training, musicality, and clean transitions.

Engaging activities like technique stations, freeze-dance conditioning, partner across-the-floors, and daily choreography combinations keep dancers motivated while developing coordination, confidence, and performance skills.

Attire: Dancers should arrive dressed in a black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps) or a black fitted tank or t-shirt, paired with black jazz pants or leggings. Black boy shorts are optional but must be worn with flesh-colored convertible tights. Tan split-sole jazz shoes are required, and hair should be neatly pulled back and completely out of the face.
