Your Dream Room: Design, Plan, & Style
Description
Step into the world of interior design! In this hands-on camp, students will transform their most imaginative bedroom ideas into polished, functional room designs.

Campers will learn the essentials of spatial planning through geometry - measuring dimensions, drafting scaled floor plans, and exploring how shapes, angles, and layout impact form and function. Once their blueprint is complete, the creative fun begins. Students select furniture, décor, color palettes, and layout options while working within an assigned “designer budget.”

Along the way, they’ll practice decision-making skills as they compare options, calculate costs, and prioritize needs versus wants—just like real designers do. By the end of the week, each camper will walk away with a beautifully crafted design board and a complete room plan that blends aesthetic vision with practical math and planning skills. Perfect for students who love creativity, style, and making a space truly their own!
