Reading & Writing Workshop-3rd-4th
Description
In this camp, students will strengthen their reading comprehension skills through daily story exploration and interactive activities. Campers will practice making connections, predictions, inferences, and sequencing as they dive into a wide range of stories and memorable characters.

Each morning includes focused writing time, during which campers will work in both cursive and print to enhance fine motor skills and refine writing mechanics such as spelling, punctuation, and capitalization. Fun, daily writing prompts keep students motivated and engaged.

Led by Parish 4th grade teacher Lauren Smyth, this workshop builds confidence, sparks excitement for Humanities, and helps prevent the summer learning slump. With small class sizes, each camper receives personalized attention, making this camp a valuable and engaging jump-start to the upcoming school year.
