Math Enrichment: We Bought A Zoo!
Description
In this creative and hands-on math enrichment camp, students become animal experts and designers as they create a custom zoo enclosure for an animal of their choice.

Campers will research their animal’s habitat, space, and movement needs, then use math and geometry to design a safe and engaging enclosure. Students will apply key math skills such as measurement, area and perimeter, geometry, scale, estimation, and problem-solving as they map layouts, compare sizes, and revise their designs. The week culminates in a final enclosure model or blueprint, where students explain how math guided their decisions. Perfect for curious learners who love animals and interactive projects, this camp shows how math comes to life in the real world.
