Chess: The Knight School

The Knight School makes learning chess exciting, social, and skill-based, and is perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike. During class, students will dive into the “Tactic of the Week” chess curriculum, a fun, effective way to boost their chess skills quickly! Driven by the goal of collecting colorful “Tactix-Bands,” students learn and apply different tactics during live play, with each tactic marked by a specific wristband color. Darker colors signify tougher tactics, allowing players to see each other’s expertise immediately, creating a motivating, skill-building environment. All experience levels are welcome, with instruction tailored to each participant.

New students receive their own Knight School chess set, board, pieces, and tote.
