Speech and Debate League - Thursday

Building on the basics, this Upper School League helps students refine their writing, delivery, and performance across several American Speech and Debate Association (ASDA) events—such as Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, and Impromptu Speaking. Students will receive personalized coaching, sharpen their persuasive and performance techniques, and begin developing competition-ready pieces.

Designed as a continuation of the introductory course but equally welcoming to newcomers, this workshop prepares students for spring ASDA competitions. Whether returning to strengthen their skills or stepping into speech and debate for the first time, all students will leave ready to compete with confidence.
