Ready to unleash your inner designer and help the planet? In Upcycled Fashion, creativity meets sustainability as students transform old clothes and fabric scraps into one-of-a-kind wearable art. From cutting and sewing to painting and decorating, they’ll craft unique accessories, tees, totes—even mini outfits—while learning the value of reducing waste. Guided by experienced educators, this hands-on class builds confidence, problem-solving skills, and a passion for self-expression. Fashion has never felt so good—for you and the Earth!

Week 1:
• Topics Covered: Understanding sustainability + first hands-on project
• Project: Design Your Own Apron

Week 2:
• Topics Covered: Introduce upcycled fashion and the importance of reducing textile waste
• Project: Jeans Pocket Pouches

Week 3:
• Topics Covered: Fashion remix with DIY accessories from old materials
• Project: DIY Hair Accessories (Headbands, Bows & Clips)

Week 4:
• Topics Covered: DIY upcycling accessories
• Project: DIY Sunglasses

• Project: Sunglass Chains

• Project: Reimagine and Redesign a Basic T-shirt into a Tote bag
