Something Rotten Jr. is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud musical comedy that tells the story of brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom—aspiring playwrights struggling to make a name for themselves in the shadow of Shakespeare, the rockstar of the 1590s. Desperate for a hit, the Bottom brothers turn to a soothsayer who predicts the next big thing in theatre: musicals!

Packed with witty wordplay, show-stopping numbers, and over-the-top characters, this junior adaptation keeps all the clever charm of the Broadway hit in a family-friendly version perfect for young performers and audiences alike. It’s a celebration of creativity, ambition, sibling rivalry, and finding your own voice—even when everything around you seems a little… rotten.

Get ready for ruffled collars, tap-dancing eggs, and a hilarious reminder that sometimes, the best way to stand out is to do something no one’s ever done before.

This production is also our JTF performance. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Saturdays (9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1)
