FinTeach™ – Entrepreneurship & Investing
Description
We live in an age where Artificial Intelligence dominates the business landscape. The ability to earn a living in the future may depend more on authentic creativity, effective networking and savvy entrepreneurship. Against this backdrop and in an effort to help our students maintain a competitive edge, this after-school club experience will offer collaborative opportunities to:

- practice professional etiquette in networking

- explore and share ideas in entrepreneurship

- draft and communicate written business plans

- manage team dynamics, including recruitment and separation

- understand how new companies are built from scratch

- stay ahead of the market and competitors

- absorb wins and losses toward a larger business objective

- digest financial news and reports

The goal of this after-school club is to provide students with an early foundation in entrepreneurship, while offering practical opportunities to network and discuss business ideas. To help keep our interactions engaging and non-repetitive, each meeting will begin with a discussion of current events. Mobile phone use will not be encouraged during club meetings; however, students should bring their Chromebooks for certain planned activities. Also, students should have at-home computer access to resources such as Google Finance, etc.
